Dr. Susan Tomasini is the visionary co-founder of HIW, where she has woven together a lifetime of experience, formal education, and deep spiritual insight to support individuals in achieving holistic well-being. A highly credentialed wellness professional, she has completed doctoratals in Holistic Nutrition and Natural Health, consulting herbology with applied phytotherapy, mindful trauma-informed care, and fitness training. Her expertise spans multiple disciplines, with a focus on supporting emotional balance, regulation of the nervous system, and sustainable ways of living. As a Certified Nutrition Supplement Professional and a member of NANP her formation facilitates integrating evidence-based supplementation into the coaching where appropriate. HIW Live has woven together a lifetime of lived experience with formal education to create a strong and deeply informed foundation from which to support individuals in developing sustainable lifestyle habits that may bring greater vitality and quality of life.
A central part of her work is mindful, trauma-informed wellness support… a compassionate and science-informed approach grounded in the understanding that emotional balance plays a vital role in creating equilibrium across all areas of life. Stress, lived experiences, and emotional patterns can influence the nervous system, the body, and the way we experience daily life. From this foundation, individuals have support for developing greater awareness, balance, and stability through practical, integrative approaches that honor the whole person.
Guided by a strong faith in God and a profound respect for each person's inner wisdom, Dr. Susan fosters a nonjudgmental, compassionate approach to health. She believes true wellness emerges from the alignment of thought, form, and essence, encouraging individuals to tune into their unique needs while making informed, science-backed choices.
Her focus is less on surface details and more on what is taking place within… what patterns have formed, how experiences are carried, and what may be influencing a person’s sense of balance, direction, and well-being.

A resident of Patagonia for more than five decades, Susan’s work is inspired by nature, balance, and faith in God. She has experienced that wellness begins in alignment — of body, mind, and spirit — and that each person’s inner wisdom is the truest guide.
Dr. Susan’s black belt in Aikido deepens her understanding of self-regulation, flow, and perspective—principles she weaves into her approach to wellness. Fluent in English and Spanish, she connects with a diverse international community, sharing her message of empowerment across cultures.
She believes that true wellness emerges through the alignment of thought, form, and essence, encouraging individuals to tune into their unique needs while making informed, science-backed choices.
