HIW Refund and Deferral Policy

1. Introduction
At HIW, LLC (“HIW Live,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we are dedicated to providing high-quality, science-based wellness programs and services.
We recognize that circumstances may occasionally arise that prompt participants to request a refund or deferral.
This policy explains the conditions under which refunds or extensions may be granted, ensuring fairness, clarity, and respect for all involved.
2. Refund Eligibility Period
Standard Refund Window:
Participants may request a full refund within seven (7) days of their enrollment date in any HIW Live program or service.
Post-Eligibility Period:
After this 7-day window has expired, refunds are not available except as described under Exceptional Circumstances below.
3. Access and Usage Conditions
Material Access:
Once a participant has accessed, viewed, or downloaded any course materials, worksheets, or recorded sessions, they become ineligible for a refund.
This policy safeguards our intellectual property and ensures that educational materials are used responsibly.
4. Course Rescheduling and Extensions
Deferral Requests:
Participants who experience unforeseen personal, medical, or family challenges may request a program deferral of up to:
6 months, or
12 months (in exceptional cases).
Submission Requirements:
Deferral requests must be submitted in writing to HIW Live, explaining the reason for the deferral and providing any relevant supporting documentation.
Recommencement Fees:
Participants returning after a deferral may be required to pay a recommencement fee to reactivate access.
The applicable amount and process will be clearly communicated at the time of the deferral approval.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
Case-by-Case Review:
Refund requests submitted after the 7-day eligibility period will be evaluated individually.
Administrative Discretion:
Approval of such requests rests solely with HIW Live administration and may require documentation (e.g., proof of medical or family emergency).
Partial refunds or credit toward future programs may be granted at our discretion.
6. Implementation and Transparency
Clear Communication:
We are committed to presenting this refund policy at the time of purchase and in all enrollment materials so participants are fully informed before registering.
Recordkeeping:
HIW Live maintains detailed documentation of all refund, deferral, and extension communications to ensure transparency and accountability.
Legal Compliance:
This policy complies with applicable consumer-protection and e-commerce laws within the State of Washington, USA, and aligns with international consumer fairness principles.
