HIW Refund Policy
HIW Refund, Deferral, and Session Use Policy
Effective Date: March 25, 2026
1. Introduction
At HIW, LLC (“HIW Live,” “HIW,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we are committed to offering thoughtful, science-based educational wellness services with clarity and fairness for all participants.
This policy explains how HIW handles refunds, session use, deferrals, extensions, and recurring membership cancellations. By purchasing any HIW offering, the participant acknowledges and agrees to this policy.
2. Nature of Services
HIW provides educational, wellness, and coaching support only. HIW services are not psychotherapy, psychiatric care, medical treatment, crisis care, or emergency services. HIW does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace the care of licensed healthcare professionals.
Each participant remains fully responsible for His or Her own decisions, actions, and outcomes.
3. One-Time Sessions and Session Packages
Unless a specific offer states otherwise in writing, all one-time sessions and session packages are final sale.
This includes individual sessions, multi-session support series, and any related one-time administrative or personalization fees.
No cancellations are available for session-based offerings after purchase.
No refunds are issued for session-based offerings after purchase.
Refunds are not issued for:

missed sessions
-
unused sessions
-
partial participation
-
failure to book within the stated booking period
-
failure to begin within the stated timeframe for the purchased offering
4. Booking Period and Session Use
Each offer must be booked or initiated within the booking or start period stated at the time of purchase.
If a participant does not book or begin the offering within that stated period, the offering expires unless HIW approves otherwise in writing.
Once a session has been scheduled, failure to attend, failure to appear on time, or inability to participate at the scheduled time may result in forfeiture of that session.
Late arrival may reduce the available session time. The full session fee or session use still applies.
5. Rescheduling
Session-based offerings are sold with no cancellations.
Rescheduling, if allowed at all, is offered only at HIW’s discretion, subject to availability, and only when requested with sufficient notice. Approval of any rescheduling request is not guaranteed.
If HIW determines that a session cannot reasonably be reassigned or accommodated, the session may be treated as used and forfeited.
6. Programs, Courses, and Digital Materials
For programs, courses, memberships, downloadable materials, recorded materials, worksheets, or other digital educational content, all sales are final unless HIW states otherwise in writing.
Once any course, program material, worksheet, download, recording, or protected content has been accessed, viewed, downloaded, or made available, no refund will be issued.
This protects the intellectual property, educational materials, and preparatory work involved in each HIW offering.
7. Deferrals and Extensions
For structured programs only, not for one-time sessions unless HIW expressly approves it, a participant may submit a written request for a deferral or extension due to significant personal, family, or medical circumstances.
Deferrals or extensions are considered individually and are not guaranteed.
If HIW approves a deferral or extension:
the revised access period or re-entry date will be provided in writing
a reactivation or recommencement fee may apply
access to materials, scheduling priority, or program structure may differ from the original enrollment
8. Exceptional Circumstances
HIW may, in rare situations and at HIW’s sole discretion, consider a credit, extension, transfer, or other accommodation.
Any such consideration is voluntary, case specific, and does not create an obligation for HIW to provide refunds, credits, or exceptions in future cases.
9. Monthly Memberships and Recurring Billing
For recurring monthly memberships only, written notice of cancellation must be received at least thirty (30) days before the next billing date to prevent renewal.
Cancellation of a membership stops future renewals only. It does not create a refund for charges already processed, prior billing periods, partially used membership periods, or included services already made available.
This membership cancellation section applies only to recurring memberships and does not apply to one-time sessions, session packages, or one-time program purchases.
10. HIW-Initiated Changes
If HIW must cancel a session or cannot reasonably provide the purchased service due to HIW-side scheduling, technical, or operational circumstances, HIW may offer one of the following, at HIW’s discretion:

rescheduling

account credit
-
transfer to a comparable offering

refund, if HIW determines a refund is appropriate

12. Policy Updates
HIW may update this policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or service changes. Any updated version will become effective as of the posted Effective Date.
13. Acknowledgment
By purchasing, enrolling in, booking, or participating in any HIW offering, the participant confirms that He or She has read, understood, and agreed to this policy, along with any applicable Terms and Conditions and website policies associated with the selected offering.
