HIW Terms and Conditions for Booking Coaching Sessions

1. Introduction
Welcome to HIW Live (“HIW,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
These Terms and Conditions govern the booking, payment, and participation in our coaching sessions — both one-on-one and group formats.
By scheduling or purchasing a session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, as well as the Privacy Policy, Refund and Deferral Policy, and Disclaimer available at www.hiwlive.com.
2. Eligibility
To book or participate in a coaching session, you must be 18 years of age or older (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
By booking, you confirm that these requirements are met.
3. Booking and Payment
Booking Process:
All sessions must be scheduled through our official booking portal. A confirmation email with date, time, and access details will be sent upon successful scheduling.
Payment Terms:
Full payment is required at the time of booking. Accepted payment methods are listed on our website and include PayPal, Stripe, or other secure processors.
Your session is confirmed only after payment is received.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled session qualify for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are subject to a 50% fee.

No-shows (failure to attend without notice) are non-refundable.
Rescheduling Policy:

Sessions may be rescheduled up to 12 hours before the scheduled time without penalty.

Rescheduling within 12 hours of the session is subject to availability and may incur a 25% fee.

In emergencies, please contact HIW promptly; reasonable accommodations may be made at our discretion.
All refund or rescheduling requests must be made via email to hiwlives@gmail.com.
5. Session Conduct and Expectations
Punctuality:
Please join sessions on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to respect subsequent appointments, and no refunds will be issued for lost time.
Preparation:

Complete all pre-session materials (e.g., questionnaires or forms) as instructed to maximize value.

Failure to submit required materials before the session may require rescheduling at your expense.
Respectful Participation:
HIW Live fosters a safe, judgment-free learning environment.
Abusive, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
6. Technical Requirements
Client Responsibilities:
Ensure a stable internet connection and a quiet, private environment for online sessions (via Zoom or WhatsApp).
Technical Issues:

If client-side technical problems prevent participation, contact us immediately. Rescheduling may be possible, subject to availability and a potential fee.

If HIW-side technical issues disrupt your session, we will reschedule at no cost.
HIW is not liable for any disruptions caused by internet connectivity, software failures, or hardware limitations beyond our control.
7. Confidentiality
All personal information and discussions shared during coaching sessions — including questionnaires and progress notes — are treated as strictly confidential.
Information will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
8. Limitations of Service
HIW coaching sessions provide educational guidance and lifestyle support.
Our coaches do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace the care of a licensed medical or psychological professional.
Participants are encouraged to consult their healthcare provider before making significant changes to diet, exercise, or lifestyle.

9. Intellectual Property
All session materials, handouts, and educational resources provided by HIW Live are the intellectual property of HIW, LLC.
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use these materials for your own learning.
Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited without written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
HIW provides coaching and educational services on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

HIW shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from participation in coaching sessions or inability to access services.

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific session or package in question.
Some jurisdictions may not allow exclusion of certain liabilities; in such cases, HIW’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Availability, Changes, and Updates
HIW Live may modify, suspend, or discontinue any coaching services, materials, or content at any time — for example, to improve quality, address technical needs, or comply with legal obligations.
We may also revise these Terms without prior notice.
All updates become effective immediately upon posting on www.hiwlive.com and are identified by a new “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of our coaching services after updates are posted constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Force Majeure
HIW is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, power outages, or internet disruptions.
